Privacy Policy

• Everything you type, paste, upload, or generate in a tool is processed on your device and is never uploaded to us.
• TechForgeLab shows no third-party ads and sets no advertising cookies.
• We use Google Analytics for aggregate usage stats. It sets cookies only after you accept the consent banner — decline and every tool still works fully; you're simply not counted.
• There are no accounts and we never sell personal data. You can change your choice any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
• If any of this changes, this policy will be updated and the change noted in the changelog.

Every tool on TechForgeLab is local-first. Inputs and outputs — text, files, images, generated IDs, passwords, encryption keys, conversions — are handled entirely in your browser using Web APIs (Web Crypto, Canvas, WebAssembly). They are never transmitted to a TechForgeLab server, because there is no application server and no database. UI preferences (theme, recently used tools, tool settings) are saved in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and how the site performs, in aggregate. It sets cookies (for example _ga) and collects usage events, approximate location (from IP, which Google does not store in GA4), device and browser type, and referring pages. We use this only to improve the toolkit — never to identify you individually.

You can opt out for all sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or simply decline in our consent banner. For details on how Google handles this data, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

On first visit you're asked to accept or decline analytics cookies. We implement Google Consent Mode v2, so until you accept, Google's tag runs in a restricted, cookieless state. Your choice is remembered in localStorageso you're not asked again, and you can revisit it any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

TechForgeLab currently shows no third-party ads and sets no advertising cookies. If advertising is ever introduced, this policy will describe the provider and your controls before any ad script ships.

Our static hosting/CDN provider may retain standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. These are not joined to any identity and are never sold.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because the tools don't collect personal data and analytics is aggregated, most requests concern the analytics cookies you can already control through the consent banner and the opt-out link above. TechForgeLab is a general-audience utility site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

There is no contact form. The contact page is an email address — clicking it opens a draft in your own mail client. Nothing you write passes through or is stored on our infrastructure; email goes directly from your mail provider to ours.

If we change this policy — for example, if advertising is ever introduced — the date above updates and material changes are noted in the changelog before they take effect.
